- Coletta M. Frieders, 80, of Aurora, passed away Friday, February 22, 2002 at her home. She was born September 10, 1921 in Aurora, IL to John and Alvina (Schiltz) Spang. Coletta was a member of the W.C.U. Elizabeth's Branch. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Terry) Vogt of Aurora, IL; John Frieders of Westland, MI and David (Kimberly) of Sheridan, IL; six grandchildren, Anthony (Julie) Vogt of Aurora, Richard (Andrea) Vogt of Aurora, Christopher (Dawn) Frieders of Plymoth, MI, Randy (Jill) Frieders of Garden City, MI, Katlyn and Ryan Frieders of Sheridan, IL; two great grandchildren, Brennen and Payton Vogt of Aurora, IL; one sister Rosette Franzen of Aurora, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas A. Frieders; an infant son; one brother, Alvin Spang; two sisters, Bernadine Zabor and Evelyn Medernach. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at 9:30 am from The Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary to St. Therese Church at 10:00 am. Fr. Robert Camacho will officiate with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2002 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a liturgical wake service at 7:00 pm, at The Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, 220 N.
