Henry Walch, Plainview to Be Buried Saturday
Plainview, Minn.---(Special to the Republican-Herald) -- Funeral services for Henry Walch, 69, who died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday at his home on a farm a mile east of Plainview, will be conducted here at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joachim's Catholic church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. T. F. O'Connor will officiate. Mr. Walch had been in ill health for two years.
He was born at Oak Ridge, between here and Winona, February 25, 1867, and married Miss Louisa Kramer January 10, 1893, at Oak Ridge. Not long afterward Mr. and Mrs. Walch moved to the Plainview territory where they resided on various farms for the last 40 years. At the time of his death Mr. Kramer [ Author note - Walch] was President of the Plainview Farmers Insurance Company, a post he had held for 20 years.
Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Gabriel Fogelson, Kenyon, Minn.;five brothers, Nicholas, Francis, and Al of Rollingstone, Minn., John of Elgin, Minn., and Cecil of Winona, and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Speltz of Albert Lea, Minn. and Mrs. Edwin Schell of Minneiska, Minn.
