  John Draudt, an aged resident of the Big Woods, passed away yesterday morning [26 April 1906 Thursday] at ten o'clock at his home northeast of this city. The deceased was eighty-three years. He leaves a son, Peter, and four daughters, Mrs. Mary Kramer, Mrs. Frank Lies, Mrs. Susan Hankes and Mrs. M. Freedres, all of this city, to mourn his loss. The funeral will take place Saturday morning [28 April 1906] at nine o'clock from the home and at 9:30 from the Big Woods church.
