  	Rollingstone, Minn. - Francis A. Greden, 58, died of lung cancer at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at Community Memorial Hospital, Winona. He was ill 5 months. An employee of the Winona County Highway Department the past 35 years, he was born Aug. 18, 1910 on a farm in Mount Vernon Township. His family moved here in 1918. He attended Holy Trinity High School here and St. Mary's College, Winona. He married Elizabeth Lehnertz of Rollingstone 5/6/1935. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, its St. Nicholas Society and the Winona Knights of Columbus and was mayor of Rollingstone for eight years. Survivors are: His wife; two sons, David, Rochester, and John, Minneapolis; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Carol) Ryan, St. Paul; eight grandchildren; one brother, Elmer, Winona; and one sister, Colette, Rochester. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Roy Literski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edward and Alois Rivers, Robert Schmit, Francis Kreidermacher, Francis Benedett and Thomas Hengel. Friends may call at the Rollingstone Funeral Home this afternoon and evening. Rosaries will be recited at 8:30 by the St. Nicholas Society and at 9 by the Knights of Columbus. Winona Daily News, July 2, 1969
