  	Rollingstone, Minn. - John H. Rivers, 72, local merchant here for the greater part of his life, died at a Rochester hospital at 8 a.m. today following two months of illness from a heart ailment. He was at Rochester one week. Mr. Rivers was born at Rollingstone in 1868 and lived in the community all his life, conducting a dry goods and notions store. He married Bertha Jung at Rollingstone on October 10, 1903, and his wife died just three and a half weeks ago. Surviving are two children, Dr. A. B. Rivers of Rochester and Angela at home. He was a member of St. Nicholas' society of Holy Trinity church here. Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the church and burial will be in the Rollingstone cemetery.
