Wilbur C. Gaworski
Wilbur C. Gaworski, 69, of Aurora, died May 2, at his home. He was born March 24, 1912 in Yorkville.
He was a member of the Knight of Columbus # 736, LOOM #500. He was a retired crane operator for Arnold Lies Co. after 30 years of service and presently employed at Emerald Green Sod Farm for the past 5 years.
Survivors include; his wife, Caroline D. (Modaff) Gaworski; two daughters, Ruth Gaworski and Mary Weis both of Aurora; one son, Louise of Sugar Grove; four grandchildren and one brothers Francis of Redlands, Calif.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence, George and Willis Gaworski and one sister, Cecilia Ames.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Daleiden High Street Mortuary to St. Therese Church at 10 a.m. Father Robert Sherry will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
