  Modaff Sr., Nicholas John Nicholas John Modaff, Sr., age 94, of Naperville, IL, passed away on May 26, 2008 at his home. He is survived by his sons, Nick, Jr. (Carole) Modaff, Joe Modaff, and Dave (Liz) Modaff; his daughters, Carol Weissinger of Big Rock, Edith (Ken) Brown of Hennepin, IL; his 15 loving grandchildren; and his 19 cherished great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Dora (Frisch) Modaff; his wife, Alice; daughter Mary Konder; granddaughter Sandi Modaff; brothers, Bernard Modaff and Peter Modaff; sisters, Caroline Gaworski, Lillian Landorf, Ceal Kuhn, and Agnes Theis. He was a lifelong Naperville resident and member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Naperville, St. Raphael Catholic Church in Naperville, and St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Plainfield. He was a member of 25 Dance Club, Knights of Columbus, and the Naperville Moose Lodge 1290. He was also involved with the Jefferson Club, Wheatland Plowing Match Association, a member of the Pure Milk Association and the Will County Farm Bureau. He enjoyed all sporting events and was very active during his life raising his family, farming, church, and various social activities. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Rd., Naperville. Interment at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
